With more than 100,000 light years in diameter, 100 billion stars and at least as many planets, our Milky Way galaxy is the most impressive feature of the night sky that one can see with naked eyes.

Johannes Holzer, and IT-consultant and a photographer from Krün, Germany who is specialized in Milky Way photography, has been trying hard to take the most beautiful and stunning pics of our beautiful Milky Way Galaxy. Whenever he gets the chance to click the pic of the Milky Way, he makes sure to get the best click and his effort clearly reflects through the photos taken by him.

Truly amazing pic. An amazing split view of the Milky Way taken near Isar, a river in Southern Germany. To get this eye-popping view of the Milky Way, a mountainous landscape, and the murky depths of the river, Johannes Holzer had taken the help of his two cameras. He relied on his cameras to shoot three photos from roughly the same perspective and stitched together to get the final image below –
